Catheter Locking System easy to use, our locking mechanism utilizes a compressible suture seal to minimize leaking and provide secure catheter placement. Optimally located, the lock does not interfere with the lumen of the catheter. Ureflex® and Ureflex-Soft All UreSil catheters are made from Ureflex - a specially formulated biocompatible material developed by our engineers.  Ureflex catheters are soft and flexible, kink and accordion resistant, and fully radiopaque.  For greater patient comfort, Ureflex-Soft is now available.   Hydrophilic Coating Additionally, all catheters are available with UreSil's proprietary Tru-Slide+™ Hydrophilic-Coated surface.  The Tru-Slide+ is an extremely slippery hydrophilic coating applied to the distal end of the catheter which facilitates introduction and maneuvering through tough tissues and tortuous paths.
